Refunds and Cancellation

Our Refund Policy:

Students who withdraw from any of our classes will receive a tuition refund based upon the applicable schedule listed below.  Withdrawal by the student can be made in any manner by contacting their Counselor or Administrator.  Withdrawals received by Med Workshops by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, are eligible for the refund based on that date.

Upon withdrawal Med Workshops will refund the appropriate percentage amounts of the total tuition payment.  The registration fee of $100.00 is nonrefundable.  If education materials have been shipped, all applicable Shipping and Handling Fees will be deducted from any refunds owing to the student.  It is the student's responsibility to return all books and materials in excellent condition.

If the student's actual payments made are insufficient to cover the non-refundable portion of the tuition based on the refund schedule below, no refund shall be issued.  All days are considered as business days.

The following is a minimum refund policy for courses without mandatory resident training:

1    An applicant may cancel up to five business days after signing the enrollment agreement. In the event of a dispute over timely notice, the burden to prove service rests on the applicant.

2    If a student cancels after the fifth calendar day but before the school receives the first completed lesson, the school may keep the registration fee of $100.00.

3    After the school receives the student's first completed lesson and until the student completes half the total number of lessons in the program, the school is entitled to keep the registration fee and a percentage of the total tuition as described in the following table:

When calculating all refunds, the official date of a student’s termination is the last day of recorded attendance:

When the school receives notice of the student’s intention to discontinue the training program; or,

  1. When the student is terminated for a violation of a published school policy which provides for termination; or,

  2. When a student, without written notice, fails to attend classes for thirty calendar days
