Email Policies

Regarding email:
Our medical transcription counselors, mentors and students correspond often by email, as well as using the Student Forum. The Student Forum is the preferred method of use for students to send in questions for their counselor.
We do not provide a "general delivery" mailbox. Each student must address their questions to their personal mentor or counselor. All email sent to our network, must be addressed to a valid user account, or must otherwise be sent through one of our online forms.
We maintain a technical support form for any student who wishes to notify us of any problems they may have sending or receiving email. Please contact us using this form.
We are trying to address the increasing problems related to Spam/Junk email. Doing so has slowed down our email service causing frustration to our Staff, as well as our students. We must block the receipt of all unsolicited email and spam from our network computers. The goal is to protect our email servers from viruses or being used for the purpose of relaying or sending unsolicited email by entities outside of our network. All email identified as Spam by our server will be deleted.
We use reasonable effort to adjust our anti-spam filters to allow legitimate email to be received, as long as such adjustments do not otherwise compromise our system. We can’t guarantee that students with accounts on known "spamming" networks will be able to send email to us. Unfortunately, some email services in use by our students are known purveyors of Spam and must be blocked. Those students may choose to use other “clean” email services or use the Student Forum as the solution.
We will use every reasonable means to protect all email addresses. We will never send unsolicited email to our students or interns.
Thank you,
